The short version. Nova Protocol does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Your saved game stays on your own computer.
Nova Protocol writes a single save file to your computer containing your in-game progress — credits, unlocked ships, research, upgrades, high scores, achievements earned, and your settings. This file lives in your local application data folder and is never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
You can delete it at any time by removing the game's data folder. Doing so erases your progress and nothing else.
Nothing. TAH Games operates no servers, no accounts, and no analytics for this game. We receive no data about you, your device, or how you play.
Nova Protocol is distributed through Steam and uses standard Steam features, which may include achievements, leaderboards, and Steam Cloud save synchronisation. When you use these features, the data involved is handled by Valve Corporation under Valve's Privacy Policy, not by us.
Through Steam's own aggregate reporting, we can see anonymous, non-identifying statistics such as total sales figures and how many players have unlocked a given achievement. We cannot see who you are.
If you enable Steam Cloud, your save file is copied to Valve's servers so it can follow you between computers. That copy is governed by Valve's policy above. You can turn Steam Cloud off for this game in its Steam properties.
Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the game's Steam announcements.
